Keighley and Craven CAMRA Pub Of The Year

Keighley and Craven CAMRA Pub of the Year is awarded each spring. The pub is chosen by our members via two rounds of surveying, starting from an original short-list of around twenty-five pubs. The surveyors look at a number of criteria including Beer Quality, Atmosphere, Style, Decor, Clientele Mix, Value for Money and Sympathy with CAMRA's aims. As many members as possible are encouraged to take part.

Our current pub of the year (2010) was announced at the branch meeting on 2nd March 2010. The presentation will take place on May 18th to the Maypole, Long Preston.

Pub of the Year 2009 was the Old White Bear, Cross Hills.

Our first ever Pub of the Year was awarded in 2008 to the Brown Cow, Keighley.

Branch members:Surveying in the first round of the 2011 Pub of the Year will start as usual in October. Please join in! It is quite easy to take part. For more details log into the members area of this web-site, once Keighley Beer Festival is out of the way, or contact Colleen Holiday.
