The 1998 beer festival

The 1998 beer festival, held in the Worth Brewery, was highly successful with over 1200 customers drinking the 60 plus beers on offer.

Beers of the festival were:

  1. Durham White Gold
  2. Fernandes Malt Shovel Mild
  3. Roosters Roosters.

Cider of the festival was Pipkin, brewed in Masham, North Yorkshire. £200 worth of unused beer tokens were donated to charity by customers as they left the festival. This money has been given to the Manorlands hospice in Oxenhope.
