LocALE - Supporting Local Breweries
Breweries qualifying for LocALE in Keighley and Craven
For our LocALE campaign we have divided the Branch into 3 separate areas and, for each area, drawn up a list of breweries which lie within 25 miles of the centre of that area. The 3 areas are 'Upper Wharfedale', which covers all the pubs from Addingham to Cray, 'Keighley', which covers Keighley, the Worth Valley, Silsden, Crosshills and Glusburn and 'Skipton', which covers Skipton, Malhamdale, South Craven and the Ribble Valley. Some breweries qualify in all 3 areas.
The lists are not set in stone. Being long and thin, our branch area is not the best shape for deciding what constitutes locALE where. If a brewery is within 25 miles of just one of our pubs, and that pub sells its beer, then it qualifies for that pub!
