Community Pubs Week 17th - 24th February 2007
National Pubs Week has been replaced by Community Pubs Week in 2007.
The Keighley and Craven branch have three events organised for Community Pubs Week 2007.
First, there is a social event on Saturday 17th February 2 PM at the Old White Bear, Crosshills.
Second, a Tour of Hisorical Pubs around Skipton, led by Malcolm Hanson. The walk is on Tuesday 20th February. Meet 8pm in the Cock and Bottle, Swadford Street, Skipton. Price £3.50 per person.
Third, a tutored beer tasting session at the Brown Cow, Keighley on Friday 23 February, starting at 8pm. There's no need to book, just turn up and join in. The price is just £4.00 per person. There are six different real ales to sample. There'll be a discussion of beer styles and their characteristics, as well as what to look for when tasting beer as well as participating in a practical scoring exercise.
Everyone is welcome to all events (you don't have to be a CAMRA member) - just turn up for an entertaining time over a few drinks.
