The Foresters Arms Grassington
Located up the street
which heads off top-left from Grassington's picturesque cobbled main
square, the Foresters sells a range of real ales including Daleside
Greengrass and Black Sheep Bitter. This is the pub's first Pub of the
Season award. Open all day, everyday, food is served at lunchtimes and
from in the evenings. The presentation was made by Fred Baker, the
Branch secretary on Friday 23rd June at 8.30 p.m. To get to Grassington
by bus (so that you can fully appreciate the pub), Pride of the Dales
run a regular Monday to Saturday bus service from Skipton to
Grassington throughout the year, with a more limited service from
Ilkley. A summer Sunday service is run from a variety of starting
points within West Yorkshire and from Lancaster and Morecambe. Full
public transport details can be obtained from the Yorkshire Dales
Public Transport Users Group. Grassington also has ample car-parking
space.
